ASANA KIRI
I offer Sound Journeys for both groups and individuals, as well as artisan healing instruments for sale to bring those healing frequencies into your practice, home and community.
I am passionate about what I do and feel honored to facilitate a space for deep relaxation and healing through holistic resonance. As such, I have traveled to many parts of the world: the United States, Europe, Costa Rica, Peru, Egypt and Canada - furthering my knowledge on mastering unique musical healing tools to share in my Sound Journeys.
I am a certified Sound Healer, licensed Reiki Master and Modern Shaman. I have also studied sacred geometry, crystal healing, vibrational healing, color therapy, Egyptian and Native cultures, and meditation. I connect deeply with the sounds and vibrations of crystal bowls, planetary gongs, crystal harps, shanti chimes and tuning forks. I feel it to be my purpose and Dharma to share these healing sounds and frequencies with others.
I am honored to be a Paiste and Meinl Gong representative as well as a distributor of Crystal Tones Singing Bowls, and other sacred sound healing instruments.

MY JOURNEY
The first time I heard a bowl sing, the haunting sound seemed to awaken an ancient remembering, touching the essence of my soul. This deep awakening vibrated through me, illuminating my being. The angelic humming traveled deep within, resonating with me on a soul-awakening level. I truly heard its song that day, and so did my heart.
Drawn to this ethereal experience, my personal healing journey with sound was born. My heart was calling, the universe was directing me and I couldn’t help but listen and follow. My personal transformation and spiritual metamorphosis unfolded as activation happened on a cellular level. I fell deeply in love with this cosmic soul concert of love and deep vibrational healing. I have spent several years studying and working with energy and perfecting myself as a sound practitioner and artist. I feel honored to share this sacred experience with the world.
I play bowls because the sound transports me, it transcends all barriers as everything fades away and I get to be fully present within my divine self. I truly enjoy sharing this experience with others and allowing energy and spirit to flow through me. I have found that sound is one of the most subtle and powerful ways for us incarnated in physical form to access energy. With intention, and sound acting as the carrier for that prayer, the music I create is beautiful, powerful medicine.
I find myself raised into an extraordinary place of quiet and serenity. I find a connection to a world of love for fellow human beings and a feeling of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. In this new age, sound is both a means of attaining good health and promoting peace and love across the world.
I play to find joy and I play to bring joy.
It is my Dharma to share this joy.
The name Asana Kiri is derived from the yoga pose, Savasana (Sav+ASANA) and the root word asana, both components of yoga practice that promote a state of homeostasis, allowing a release of emotional and physical tension and welcoming a deep inner healing journey allowing the body to rest and integrate.
Although savasana is typically practiced at the end of yoga it can be used to calm the body at the beginning of practice as we do on a sound journey
In a sound bath participants lay in savasana in preparation for their sound journey. We welcome and respect this time of rest, deep relaxation and inner growth.
The golden butterfly was chosen to symbolize a spiritual metamorphosis and messenger of transformation. Butterflies guide us to be sensitive to our personal cycles of expansion and growth, as well as the beauty of life’s continuous unfolding. The spirit of the butterfly represents the ability to go through important changes with grace and lightness which I found to be a beautiful and meaningful representation of a sacred sound journey.
